WHAT IS QUARTZITE?

Quartzite is a natural stone comprised of quartz and various other minerals. Its stunning designs are organically made through the heat and pressure of tectonic plates.

GENERAL CLEANING

Routine and timely cleaning is recommended, as natural stone stains easier than quartz or Dekton.

  • Wipe spills immediately.
  • Use a mild solution of dish soap and warm water.
  • Always use a clean, soft cloth.
  • Do not use harsh and abrasive scouring pads or cleaning agents. Using these items may permanently alter the finish.

SCRATCHES AND CHIPPING

Quartzite is scratch and chip resistant but is not scratch and chip proof. Always use a cutting board and trivets on rough surfaced items.
  • For scratch and chip repair, contact your local CKF showroom.

HEAT AND UV EXPOSURE

  • Quartzite can be installed outdoors due to its naturally occurring colors, which will not fade due to direct sunlight.
  • Quartzite is heat resistant. Always use a trivet under hot items and countertop appliances. Scorching and cracking may occur if quartzite is exposed to high heat.
