As the saying goes, everything old is new again, which is especially the case with this historic renovation. Originally built between 1923-1934 as the Farm Credit Building in downtown Omaha, it is now home to 213 apartments complete with creamy quartz countertops and warm brown cabinetry. This project beautifully blends the character of this historic building with fresh modern finishes throughout, giving the space new life.

The focal point of the apartment lobby is a stunning fireplace with a quartz base featuring Cambria’s popular Brittanicca design. Beyond the fireplace is a matching u-shaped bar, perfect for pulling up a chair and enjoying a drink.

The same quartz design is carried through to the adjacent game room and paired with modern copper stools. The bold blue paint offers a striking contrast to the neutral countertops, making them a standout design feature.

The apartment kitchens and bathrooms continue with the same modern aesthetic featuring quartz countertops and warm wood cabinetry throughout the units.

As with any project it’s exciting to see the finished results, but even more so when it’s such a dramatic transformation with historic value. From the hints of copper, edison bulb light fixtures and bold pops of color, there are so many details that make this project unique.
