Preparing for Cabinet Delivery & Install
What to do to prepare the cabinet installation:
Clear the Area: Job site should be ready and clear of other subcontractors where cabinets are to be installed. Make sure appliances and large furniture is moved out of the way. Jobsites must be “new construction ready.”
CKF is not responsible for damages to appliances left in place during the installation of the cabinets.
Ensure a Clear Path: Job site must be accessible by box trucks and vans. CKF is unable to deliver cabinetry if there is not a driveway or safe entry into the home.
Have Decorative Hardware Ready: If you are providing your own decorative hardware, have it readily accessible if CKF is installing your hardware.
Cover Existing or New Floors: If you are keeping your existing floors or recently installed new floors, ensure they are covered with a protective material to avoid damage. CKF is not responsible for scratches or damage to flooring.
