Our History
1923
Consolidated Supply Company is Established
Founded in 1923 as Consolidated Supply Company, we were a traditional wholesale building material distributor servicing lumber yards throughout Nebraska and Iowa. This business continued for 63 years.
1986
New Ownership
In 1986 Consolidated Supply Company was sold to Sam & Connie Marchese. As the competition for commodity products servicing the wholesale building material industry intensified, it was determined that we would transition our business to a “value added or service required” business model that required experienced, personal service in technical areas of the building process.
2019
100% Employee Owned
In 2019, the Employee Stock Ownership Program purchased the company from Sam and Connie Marchese. CKF is now 100% owned by it’s employees.
